I picked up a camera in 2019 as a way to document my family, and ended up finding a creative outlet that has enabled me to connect with the world in a new way.

I have always valued truth, but struggled to observe the stories happening around me in any great detail. Photography gave me a lens to view the world through (absolutely, yes pun intended) that helped me focus on the details of those stories, and allowed me to deepen my connections to people and places.

I live in San Diego, CA, with my wife, Ashley, and son Felix.
